It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Weiser of Hermann, Missouri, born in Bradford, Indiana, who passed away on January 26, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Gettelfinger and Zita Gettelfinger (Bir); her husband Virgil Leo Weiser; her sons-in-law, Bruce Lawton and Lawrence Penserum; and her siblings, George, B. J. Gettelfinger, Marie Garrison, Loretta Robertson, Ruth Ollis and Mary Katherine Gettelfinger.

She is survived by: her children, Donna Blankenship (David) of Owensville, Missouri, Patricia Lawton of Hermann, Missouri, Rose Luttrell (Johnny) of Brumley, Missouri, Rev. Virgil Weiser (Patricia) of Wellsville, Missouri, Mary Weiser of Hermann, Missouri, Rev. Tim Weiser (Katherine) of Rosebud, Missouri, James Weiser (Judy) of Washington, Missouri, Rev. Allen Weiser (Carla) of St. Joseph, Michigan, Leo Weiser (Kelly) of Peru, Indiana, David Weiser (Donna) of Morrison, Missouri, Lisa Beul (Dale) of Pershing, Missouri, Angela Penserum of Berger, Missouri and Steve Weiser of Stony Hill, Missouri; and her siblings, Cletus Gettelfinger (Priscilla) of Bradford, Indiana, Mary Andre Gettelfinger of Ferdinand, Indiana, Martha Oakes of Milltown, Indiana and Margaret Baylor of Palmyra, Indiana. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Memorials may be given to St. George Church, St. George School or St. George Cemetery.
