He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred D'Harlingue and Isabelle D'Harlingue (Bess). He is survived by: his daughter Lyvonne Smith (Andrew) of Sturgeon, Missouri; his stepson Steven Morphew (Xan) of Greeley, Colorado; and his siblings, Michael D'Harlingue (Vicky) of Wildwood, Missouri and Julie Jacob (Terry) of St. Louis.

Memorials may be given to Wounded Warrior Project.
