It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melvin Pohlmann (Hermann, Missouri), who passed away on December 30, 2019, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Chris Pohlmann and Adela Pohlmann (Kopp); and his brothers, Kermit, Kleo and Darwin Pohlmann.
He is survived by: his wife Edna Mae; his children, Brenda Grotewiel (Mike) of Rhineland, Missouri and Kevin Pohlmann (Theresa) of Swiss, Missouri; his siblings, Darlene D'Angelo of Hazelwood, Missouri, Evelyn Plegge (Eugene) of Linn, Missouri, Marilyn Hofstetter (Dale) of Jefferson City, Missouri, Janet McHale (John) of Brideton, Missouri, Mary Ann Warmann (Roland) of Jefferson City, Kenneth Pohlmann of Hazelwood, Missouri, James Pohlmann of Bay, Missouri and Larry Pohlmann (Lisa) of Lampasas, Texas; his grandchildren, Lauren Salzman, Evan Grotewiel, Michael Pohlmann, Micaela Plumb, Angela Frank, Gregory, William Pohlmann, Anne Howdeshell, Sarah, Joseph, Maria, Andrew and Mara Pohlmann; and his great grandchildren, Everett, Adaline, Collette Pohlmann, Ryder, Sonny, Johanna Salzman, Hunter, Levi, Jeremiah Plumb and Brooks Frank. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
