He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Berkemeyer and Lena Berkemeyer (Huebner); his brother Marvin Berkemeyer; and his nephew Steven Koch. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Berkemeyer; his daughter Renee Barton (Dustin) of Hermann, Missouri; and his grandsons, Dillon Stiers of Hermann, Collin of Hermann and Evan Marinaccio of Hermann.
