She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Workman and Lottie Workman (Wood); her husband Ralph O. Smith; her former husband Carvel T. Shaw M. D.; her son James T; and her siblings, Leta Doll Schmitt, Lorene Workman and George M. Workman.
She is survived by: her children, Linda and Timothy Shaw; her daughter-in-law Kris Shaw; her stepchildren, Eric, Joel, J. Bryan Smith, Susan Long and Shari Smith; and her sister-in-law Julie Workman. She is also survived by numerous step grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and great nieces and great nephews.
Memorials may be given to Hermann United Methodist Church.
