He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Schulte and Anna Mary Schulte (Grannert); his siblings, Mildred Langenhol (Carl), Arthur Schulte (Vera Mae) and Laura Mae Marie Schulte; and his brother-in-law Armin Eikermann (Betty).
He is survived by: his daughters, LeeAnn Bornhop (Gary) of Wentzville, Missouri and Linda Erspamer (Greg) of Edwardsville, Illinois; his grandchildren, Jason Bornhop (Brian Head), Michelle May (Jacob), Michael Bornhop (Katie), Stephen Erspamer (Megan) and Kevin Erspamer (Nicole); his great grandchildren, Simon, Elizabeth, Gabriel, Aubrey, Hayden, Emma, Silas and Diana; and his sister-in-law Delores Kopp (Don) of Jefferson City, Missouri..
Memorials may be given to Hermann United Methodist Church or St. John's Cemetery-Stolpe.
