She was predeceased by: her parents, Seth Slocum and Erla Slocum (Muntzel); her spouse Noel E. Shoemaker; and her siblings, Seth, Harry, Larry Slocum, Florence McCormack and Marcia Conley.
She is survived by: her children, Rebecca Purdy (Arthur) of Stony Hill, Missouri, Jeffery Shoemaker (Cheryl) of New Port Rickey, Florida and Jerry Shoemaker (Sherry) of Gerald, Missouri. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and many great grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to Hermann Area Crusade Against Cancer or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
