He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Heaney and Ruth Heaney (Boylston); and his brother Thomas Heaney. He is survived by: his wife Mary Heaney (Fairchild) of Hermann; his children, David Heaney (Diane) of Berger, Missouri, Tricia Heaney of Rhineland, Missouri, Matt Heaney (Katie) of Rhineland, Missouri and Krista Inks (Jason) of Pasco, Washington; and his siblings, Lisa Pennebaker of Clinton, Mississippi, Anne Johnson (Nat) of New York, Therese Jones of Granite City, Illinois and John Heaney (Dee) of Aloha, Oregon.. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, three great grandchildren.
