With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Imogene Strassner (Hermann, Missouri), born in Rhineland, Missouri, who passed away on November 20, 2019 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Elsenraat and Olivia Elsenraat (Hagedorn); her brothers, Cyril and Eugene; her great grandchild Caleb Schwartze; and her siblings-in-law, Melvin Speckhals and Eilene Strassner.
She is survived by: her husband LeRoy H. Strassner; her daughters, Susie King (Ron) of St. Peters, Missouri, Janet LaBoube (Dale) of Hermann, Missouri, Brenda Bardwell (Greg) of Rhineland, Missouri, Carla Heisler (Kurt) of Versailles, Missouri and Paula Schannuth (Scott) of Hermann, Missouri; her grandchildren, Tim King, Lindsay Hanes (Matt), Stephanie Hughes, Michelle Schwartze (Tyler), Craig LaBoube (Emily), Kristy Meyer, Katie Sweet (Robert), Jessica Bardwell, Tommy Bardwell, Eric Heisler (Sarah), Nick Heisler, Olivia Heisler, Gabriela, Alex and Andrew Schannuth; her great grandchildren, Mila, Ava, Ashlyn, Dalaney, Colton, Mabrey, Trace, Ryan, Lucas, Kaylee, Emma, Imogene, Owen, Jazmin and Landon; her siblings, Sib Elsenraat (Mary Alice) of Rhineland, Missouri, Harold Elsenraat (Jennifer) of Rhineland, Missouri and Ruth Ann Speckhals of Hermann, Missouri; and her brothers-in-law, George Strassner (Carol) of O'Fallon, Missouri, Richard Strassner (Roberta) of Bridgeton, Missouri and Dave Strassner (Mary Beth) of Hermann, Missouri. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given to St. George School, St. George Church or Hermann Hospital.
