It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Herbert Charles Hurst of Hermann, Missouri, born in Jefferson City, Missouri, who passed away on February 27, 2024, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Hurst and Martha Hurst (Webber); his brother David Hurst; his brother-in-law Danny Wolf; his niece Jill Hanger-Elfline; and his great-nephew Elijah Garner.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Melissa Stiegman of Hermann, Missouri; his sons, Christopher Hurst of Fulton, Missouri and Sam Hurst (Reyawnna Poole) of Hermann, Missouri; his sisters, Theresa Dietz of Hermann, Missouri, Carolyn Hurst of Hermann, Missouri and Virginia Wolf of Morrison, Missouri; and his aunt Norma Veltre of Union, Missouri. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Memorials may be given to Hermann Area Crusade Against Cancer.
