Elwood Wesselschmidt Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 3, 2025, at the age of 88, Elwood Wesselschmidt of Hermann, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon Wesselschmidt and Ina Wesselschmidt (Smith); his wife Helen D. Engelbrecht; and his sister Dorris Roethemeyer. He is survived by: his children, Michael Wesselschmidt (Leota) of O'Fallon, Missouri, Matthew Wesselschmidt of Hermann, Missouri and Mary Wesselschmidt of Kansas City, Missouri; his grandsons, Jeffery Wesselschmidt (Lindsey Castillo) and Andrew Wesselschmidt; his great grandchild Frida Wesselschmidt; and his brother-in-law Harold Roethemeyer of Gerald. He is also survived by nieces & nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hills Lutheran Church (1952 MO-100, Hermann, MO 65041). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be given to Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church.
