He is survived by: his parents, Gottlieb J. and Shirley Wilmsmeyer (Smith); his spouse Geralyn F. Wilmsmeyer (Klos); his children, Courtney Santeliz (Rafael) and Christopher Wilmsmeyer; his brother Bruce Wilmsmeyer; and his grandchildren, Emmett, Benjamin and Eli. He is also survived by nephews and nieces.
