It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charlotte Nichols of Hermann, Missouri, born in Berkeley, California, who passed away on February 23, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Edward and Charlotte Gertrude Furze (Thaxter); her former husband Rex Dell Knight; her husband James Albert Nichols (Jim); her daughters, Susan Rader and Marion Gerloff; her sister Florence Scovel; and her siblings-in-law, Georgia, Letha, Dixie, Richard, Ben and William.
She is survived by: her sons, Donald Nichols of Swiss, Missouri, Ronald Knight of Tomball, Texas, David Knight (Mary) of Tomball, Texas and Simeon Scovel (Laura) of Ontario, California; her stepchildren, Judy Branch of Gainsville, Texas and James "Buster" Nichols of St. Louis, Missouri; her grandchildren, Michael Knight, Robert (Nina), Christopher (Ashley), Patrick Knight (Kristen), Melyssa, Nathan (Sarah), Corbin, Jordon Brown, David Scovel, Crystal George (Adam), Jessica Gloe (Alan), Jamie Nichols (Todd Adams), Ryan Rader, Michelle Weiser (Chad) and Mike Pohlmann (Valerie); her brothers, Thomas Furze (Sheila) of California and Gordon Furze (Margaret) of Hawaii; and her sister-in-law Mary Lou Nichols of New Haven, Missouri.. She is also survived by 36 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren.
