She was predeceased by: her parents, Orval Metzler and Helen Metzler (Scholten); her brothers, Gerald "Ferd" Metzler and Wendell "Metz" Metzler (Jackie); and her brothers-in-law, Albert Bokermann and Walter Winkelmann.

She is survived by: her siblings, Melba Bokermann of Kirkwood, Missouri, Valerian "Mannie" Metzler (Vera) of Fenton, Missouri and Mildred "Fae" Winkelmann of Hermann, Missouri; and her sister-in-law Lavita Metzler of St. Charles, Missouri. She is also survived by 26 nieces and nephews and numerous great niece & nephews and great-great nieces & nephews.

Memorials may be given to St. George School, or Hermann Area Crusade Against Cancer.
