She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Garnett and Elise Fern Garnett (Streight); and her siblings, Juanita Phillips, Cecil "Junior" and Ronnie Garnett.

She is survived by: her husband Joe H. Dickson; her daughter Catherine A. (Michael W. Mahoney) of Hermann, Missouri; her siblings, Ruth Thompson of Macon, Missouri, Ethel Bowen of Clark, Marie Thompson of Lampasas and Odell Garnett of Huntsville, Missouri; her grandchildren, Karin (David Broeker) and Ryan (Faith Mahoney); and her great grandchildren, Carileen (Jacob Woodbury), Joe, Grant, Ella, Sentha Broeker, Trent, Maggie, Evangeline, Reid and Cora Mahoney. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorials may be given to Hermann Area District Hospital, Emmanuel Evangelical Free Church or Hermann Area Crusade Against Cancer.
