He is survived by: his wife Maudena Dempsey (Strange) of Herculaneum; his daughters, Christine Recar of Pevely, Kathleen Conklin-Smith of Herculaneum and Marlene Walker (Estel) of Burlington, IA; his son-in-law Paul Recar; his siblings, Dr. Herbert Dempsey (Linda) of Lees Summit, Janie Dickerson (Robert) of Rome, GA and Sarah Hornsey (Robert) of Mineral Point; his grandchildren, Heather Douglas, Danielle Limpert, Eddie McKenzie, Brittanie Burgess, Katie Phenix, Gabriel Conklin, Savannah Walker, Michael Conklin, Kathryn Conklin, Brandon Stanka, Geoff Stringer and Paul Stringer; and his great grandchildren, Connor, Kenzie, Rylee, Briella, Bryson, Maelyn and Gracen.
