She was predeceased by: her son David Thompson; her granddaughter Penelope Thompson; her grandmother Bertha Greenlee; and her stepmother Phillis Bax. She is survived by: her parents, Sonny Bax and Bernice Staffelbach (Jerry); her children, Eugene Thompson III and Alishia Thompson (Samantha); her brother Paul Bax (Diane); her stepsisters, Michelle Lashbrook (Mikeal) and Christina Massey; her grandchildren, Morgan, Elizabeth, Harper, Remington, Rilee, Emberly, Brandon, Liam and Triston; and her friend Jennifer Keal.
