She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Hessenflow and Leona Mae Hessenflow (Clevenger); her husband Vern E. Vance of Rural Henrietta; and her siblings, Alva Hessenflow (Mary), Roy Hessenflow (Evelyn), Norma Lee Cunningham (Snell) and Ester Jackson (LeeRoy).
She is survived by: her sons, Mike Vance (Tobi) of Richmond and Mark Vance (Juli) of Leawood, KS; her grandchildren, Amy Weir (Corey), Lyndsey Vance, Jon Vance (Hannah), James Vance (Chandler), Matt Vance, Tom Vance, Josh Higgs and Troy Higgs; her great grandchildren, Alex Vance, Bella Weir and Lily Yocum; and her sister Wilma Mae Williams of Lexington.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Shirkey Hospice.
