He was predeceased by: his parents, Alva Branstietter and Flossie Jewel Branstietter (Speck). He is survived by: his wife Joyce Schultz; his children, Gerald Branstietter II of Excelsior Springs, Mary Stewart (Jack) of Lawton, OK, Gerlyn Gilmore of Denver, CO, Bob Branstietter (Donna) of Henrietta, MO, Timothy Wayne Branstietter and Christopher Hewitt; and his brother Larry Branstietter of Richmond, MO. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
