He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Bernskoetter and Roseanna Bernskoetter (Wekenborg); his wife Ethel Mae; his daughter Connie Clarkston; and his brothers, Eddie Bernskoetter and Stanley Bernskoetter.
He is survived by: his children, Brenda Otto (Alphonse) of St. Anthony, Larry Limbach (Dayna) of Henley and Terry Bernskoetter (Stephanie) of Eugene; his son-in-law Richard Clarkston of Lohman; his sister Ella Heckman of Wardsville; his grandchildren, Megan Wilde (Jason), George Otto (Taylor), Kallee Clarkston, Dakota Clarkston, Koby Limbach (Morgan), Jarin Limbach, Ashton Gettle (Jacob), Colin Bernskoetter and Caleb Bernskoetter; his great grandchildren, Henry, Braxton, Hadley Wilde and Emersyn Otto; and his pet Chip.
