David left this world on January 6, 2025 at the age of 71, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, John William and Catherine Cecilia Reed (Kloeppel); and his siblings, James Reed, Judy Smith and Ruthie Reed.
He is survived by: his wife Dianne "Doc"; his children, Darla K. Hoeme (Jason) of Jefferson City and Donald J. Reed of Henley; his siblings, John W. Reed Jr. (Prudy) of Jefferson City, Sandy Nichols of Jefferson City, Randy Reed of Jefferson City, Bob Reed of Jefferson City and Debbie Sessler (John) of Auxvasse; his grandchildren, Tyler Halderman, Kalynn Halderman, Brittany Reed, Allison Roddy (James) and Aiden Hoeme; and his great grandchildren, Brylee Price, Kynleigh Harrison, Rylee Montano, Gemma Reed, Rayden Galloway and Luca Roddy. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
