He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alfred Runge and Helene Runge; his brother Alfred Runge; his sons, Walter, Karl and Paul; his niece Elizabeth; his grandchildren, Lancelot, Daniel, Alexander, Paulina, Josiah and Nathanael; and his stepgrandchild Lexi Berra.
