It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita J. Albers of Hazelwood, Missouri, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on June 28, 2024, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her father Loyd Stevenson; her husband John Albers; and her brother-in-law Bill Yore. She is survived by: her mother Dorothy Stevenson; her sons, John Brown Jr. (Deborah), Paul Brown (Michelle) and Michael Brown (Amy); her grandchildren, Jessica Redman (Michael), Justin Brown (Megan), Taylor Springer (William), Danielle Berra (Mark), Mackenzie Brown, Matthew Brown, Braydan Brown, Kinley Brown and Ashton Brown; her great grandchildren, Zane Redman, Bennett Redman, Hayes Redman, Liam Springer, Noah Springer and Maisyn Berra; and her siblings, Rick Stevenson (Kathy), Art Stevenson (Angie), Sharon Pummill (Doug), Pat Yore, Nancy Ashley (Chuck) and Carol Funderburg (Tony). She is also survived by many other family members and friends.
