He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Rutledge, Sr. and Jessie [Cole] Rutledge; and his wife Carolyn. He is survived by: his daughters, Donna [Ramon] and Rebecca [Jeff]; his brother Russell [My-Le]; and his stepdaughter Leslie. He is also survived by five step-grandsons; and one step-granddaughter.
