She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Geil and Angela Geil; her child Shawn Messerly; and her brother Richard Jeune (Corinne). She is survived by: her siblings, Jim Geil (Barbara), Jerry Geil (Maralee), Carmen Akridge (Steven) and Leo Geil. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, an uncle, and many cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 22nd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Ortmann Funeral Home (9222 Lackland Rd, Overland, MO 63114). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, October 23rd 2024 at 9:30 AM at the Our Lady of the Presentation Church (8860 Tudor Ave, Overland, MO 63114). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, October 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Mary's Cemetery (5200 Fee Fee Rd, Hazelwood, MO 63042).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Humane Society of Missouri.
