It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joyce Mae Scott in Hazelwood, Missouri, born in Phillipsburg, Missouri, who passed away on July 25, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Guy Vernon and Eula Vernon (Kissee); and her brothers, Gordon and Jack Vernon. She is survived by: her husband John Michael Scott (Mike); her daughters, Janet Lea of Springfield and Jo Lynne Chenoweth (Kelly) of Joplin; her grandchildren, Lindsey Sjorlund (Malachi), Sam Chenoweth (Bailey), Vanessa Lumby (Jacob) and Scott Lea (Kathryn); her great grandchildren, Lennox, Maddox Sjorlund, Josie Mae, Sawyer Chenoweth and Arthur Lumby; her grandson Malachi Sjorlund; and her nephews, Gary Vernon, Paul White, David White and John White. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
