She was predeceased by: her husband Governor Mel Carnahan; her parents, Reginald Carpenter and Alvina Carpenter; her son Roger (Chris Sifford); and her granddaughter Sydney Carnahan.
She is survived by: her children, Russ (Debra) of St. Louis, Robin (Juan Carlos) of St. Louis and Tom (Lisa) of St. Louis; and her grandchildren, Austin Carnahan, Andrew Carnahan, Harper Carnahan, Adair Carnahan and Cabanne Carnahan.
