He was predeceased by: his parents, Nicolo Grillo and Mary Grillo (Pendino); his former wife Marian Elizabeth Rippey; his wife Shirley Grillo; and his sister Catherine Bechtold (Wilbert).
He is survived by: his sons, Nicholas Grillo of Hawk Point, MO and Phil Grillo (Catherine) of Ballwin, MO; his grandchildren, Ryan (Meghan), Rachael (Michael), Dominic, Samuel (Kelly), Anthony and Vincent (Esperanza); his niece Karen (Michael); his nephew Glenn; and his cousins, Annette (Charles) and Russell (Elaine). He is also survived by twenty great-grandchildren.
