With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lonnie Smithey Sr. of Hawk Point, Missouri, born in Tyronza, Arkansas, who passed away on September 8, 2021 at the age of 95. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Lonnie Smithey Sr. to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dave Edward and Alberta "Berty" Smithey (Davis); his wife Darlies Smithey; his daughters, JoAn Spradling and Doris Ellington; and his son-in-law Rick Ellington.
He is survived by: his children, Lonnie Smithey, Jr. (Jackie) of Leslie, MO, Mary Stallard (Ray) of Elgin, TX, Ronald Smithey (LeAnne) of Hawk Point and Donald Smithey (Linda) of Hawk Point, MO; and his brother Roy Smithey (Joy) of Jonesboro, AR. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren, twenty-eight great grandchildren, sixteen great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
