We are sad to announce that on January 8, 2021, at the age of 76, Doris Julia Payne of Hawk Point, Missouri, born in Oakdale, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Cephus Wright and Kathryn Wright (Taylor); her husband Dan Payne; her grandchildren, Derek Payne, Cory Payne and MariLee Becker; and her siblings, Arthur, Naomi, Stanley, Mathala, Bud and Kevin.
She is survived by: her children, Debra Barrick (Roger) of Bethel, MO, Diane Kohn of Bethel, Cephus Payne (Lisa Blossom-Payne) of Troy, Elizabeth Marquette (Dwain) of Bethel, Doris Lourance (Brian) of Troy, Misty Todd (Dan) of Troy, Dan Payne II (Kym) of Warrenton and Loretta Colvin (Jason) of Troy; and her siblings, Sandra Bowman of Boise, Greg Wright (Sue) of Indianola, Sarah Hamilton (Ben) of Georgia, Jeff Wright (Charlene) of St. Louis and Susan Bensley (Don) of Des Moines. She is also survived by 47 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
Honorary pallbearers to be: Jeff Wright, and Greg Wright, Andrew Gnade, Todd Locklin, and Chris Raines, Memorial donations may be made to her great-granddaughter, Hayden Foote, who has infantile fibro sarcoma c/o McCoy-Blossom Funeral Homes & Crematory.
