He was predeceased by: his parents, Loyd Purdun and Mary Purdun (Osborn); and his brother Lawrence Clair Purdun. He is survived by: his wife Jo Ann; his children, Angela Kay Ellis (Wesley), William David Purdun and Christina Renae Wiig (Chad); and his grandchildren, Krissi Cox, Shelby Jo Ellen Chandler (Bradley), Sidney Nicole Stevenson (Garrett) and Rilee Gene Ellis (Kent Parson). He is also survived by five great grandchildren.
