He is survived by: his wife Leah Johnson; his children, Kevin Michael Somers (Darlene) of Matthews, Bryan Somers, Dawn Potter and Rebecca Siier; his brothers, Paul Somers of Colorado and James Pichard of Alexandria, Virginia.; his grandchildren, Joe Potter of Shelby Gap, Meagan Potter, Sarah Fenimore (Richard) and Jennifer Somers; his great grandchildren, Jayden and Brandon Potter; his close friends, Doug, Sandy Jones, Roy, Phyllis Stone and Irvin Kidd; and his sisters, Ruth Pennington and Phyllis Pickard.
