She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Newton and Velma Rabania Ward Claxton; her son Mark Wynacht; and her siblings, Jimmy Claxton and Kathryn Robertson.
She is survived by: her husband David D. Calton; her granddaughter Victoria Paige Wynacht of Lebanon, Missouri; her daughter-in-law Cathy Wynacht of Lebanon, Missouri; her sister-in-law Melba Claxton of Lebanon, Missouri; her nieces and nephews, Jill Robertson of Lebanon, Missouri, Gail Stephens (Bill) of Lebanon, Missouri, Steve Claxton (Cindy) of Lebanon, Missouri and Jack Claxton of Lebanon, Missouri; and her close friends, Joe, Linda Berkich, Rhonda Berkich, Christine Saunders, Pat, Darrell Ivey and Sally Simmons. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
A memorial has been established to O'Dell Cemetery.
