He was predeceased by: his parents, Adrien Granier and Virginia Granier; his son Brett Granier; and his siblings, Ann Braud, Hazel Poirer, Earl, Albert, Henry, Roy and Adrien Granier.

He is survived by: his wife Connie Granier; his children, Chuck Mercer, Jason Mercer and Donna Martin; and his sisters, Doris Castleberry and Joyce Haydel. He is also survived by five grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and many nephews, nieces, and extended family and friends.
