He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Jemes and Violet Layman Jemes; his son Bruce D. Jemes; and his brothers, Clifford, Clayton and Eldon Jemes.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara A. Nelson; his children, Bethany Elam (Jesse) of Conway, Britany Boyer (Lance) of Hartville, Missouri, Bradley Jemes (Carol) of Morgan and Brandon Jemes (April) of Grovespring, Missouri; and his siblings, Clinton Jemes (Venita) of Grovespring, Missouri, Loretta Jones of Falcon, Marie Klien of Richland and Carol Nelson (Lonnie) of Grovespring, Missouri. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
