She was predeceased by: her parents, John Harvey and Jewell Mead (Wilson); her husband William John "Bill" Stringer; her stepfather Jess Mead; her stepsisters, Betty Sue Mead and Mary Ann Mead; her mother-in-law Dollie Stringer; and her siblings-in-law, Joe Stringer, Eula Brim and Pauline McGallard.
She is survived by: her brother Johnny Mead of Caledonia, MO; and her sisters-in-law, Evelyn Dewitt and Elsie Carmack of Hartshorn, MO. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
