He was predeceased by: his parents, Shorty Cook and Mildred Cook (Barton); his brother Ernie Cook; his parents-in-law, Delmer and Ruth Tuttle; and his siblings-in-law, Don Tuttle and Sharon Cook.

He is survived by: his wife Sharon Tuttle of Hartshorn; his daughter Jamie Schatz; his grandsons, Turner of Springfield and Tucker Schatz of Springfield; his brothers, Jerry (Susan), Bernie (Bonnie) of Hartshorn and Rick (Vi) of Summersville; and his siblings-in-law, Karen (Mike McAdams) of Ozark, Barb Tuttle of Summersville, Debbie Cook of Branson, Ron (Cathy Tuttle) of Summersville and Gary (Candy Tuttle) of Summersville. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews, cousins other family members and friends.

Donations in Jim's memory may be made to Valley Center Cemetery.
