With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Nilges (Hartsburg, Missouri), born in Washington, Missouri, who passed away on September 4, 2019 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar J. Nilges and Florence M Nixon Nilges; and his brother Jim Bledsoe. He is survived by: his significant other Sharon Lane; his daughter Rachel Haney (John) of Holts Summit; his stepchildren, Tonya Lane of Jefferson City and Tim Schaffer of Jefferson City; his siblings, Rena Haulenbeek (Tim) of Jefferson City, Rhonda Jacobs (Danny) of Holts Summit, Randy Nilges (Dorene) of Jefferson City, Rob Nilges (Shelly) of Tebbetts and Rodney Nilges (Gail) of Jefferson City; his stepgrandchildren, Erica Schaffer (Shawn), Bryson Clark (Kaddie), Nicki Schaffer, Jayida Brandt and Scylor Brandt; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Bentlee Dillie, Lane Clark and Sawyer Isbell.
