He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Rice and Muriel Rice; his wife Donna Lee Rice; and his siblings, Joe Rice and Barbara Rice.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Rice (Randy), Jeffry Rice, Georgetta Rice, Jennifer Swan (Jonathan) and Scott Rice (Jeanette); and his grandchildren, Tyler, Hannah, Lauren, Katie, Brittny, Breanna, Hailey, Jonathon, Sami, Ryan, Elizabeth, Diana, Ase and Gavin. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
