He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Dale Tanner and Mary Catherine Tanner (Culkin); his son Mark Andrew Tanner; and his siblings, Mary Russell and William Tanner.
He is survived by: his children, Lisa Ellen Norton (Tanner) and Michael Tanner (Erin); his wife Barbara Ann Tanner; his grandchildren, Nicholas, Jensen Cunningham, Jacob and Brooke Tanner; and his siblings, John Richard Tanner and Roseanne Shansky (Michael).
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Peace United Church of Christ in Hartsburg, Missouri.
