He was predeceased by: his parents, Charley II and Dorothy Coots II (Case); and his brother Joe Dale Coots. He is survived by: his wife Gayla; his children, Stacy Coots and Jesee Lynn Sartor (Bryan); his grandchildren, Chris, Curt Coots, Cara Jane Thomas (Josh), Bobby Poe, Brandi, Brittney Nichols and Cohen Sartor; and his great grandchildren, Cadence and Sadie Thomas.
