He is survived by: his siblings, Robert McGowen (Rita) of Harrisonville, MO, Richard McGowen of Harrisonville, MO, Mary Thompson of Indianola, IA and Margaret A. Coons of Chariton, IA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
