He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Vogel and Louise Cook Vogel; and his siblings, Eugene Vogel, Ervin Vogel, Cecil Vogel, Maurice Vogel, Rita Strope, Raymond Vogel, Paul Vogel and Mary Ellen Jurgensmeyer.
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Vogel; his sister Betty Kniffin; his children, Steve Vogel (Wenge), David Vogel, Jerry Vogel and Karen McCarthy (Tom); and his grandchildren, Jenny Spencer, Elizabeth Leask (Joe), Aaron Vogel (Pam), Joel Vogel (Kendra) and Rebecca Blackthorne (Curtis). He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
