Martin Wint Brown Obituary
Wint Brown was a joker to the end and never took life too seriously. Singing spontaneously and breaking out in dance, he never failed to draw a laugh. Behind the goofy faces (and his mustache capable of putting Sam Elliot to shame), his love ran deep for his whole family. Wint found a second home working alongside the Lakota Sioux people on the Pine Ridge Reservation of South Dakota. He was a man of God and strived to be more like Christ each day. The brothers and sisters Wint met through the church had become his second family. After God, his loving wife Julie and five children were his everything. He loved his wife dearly; dancing to their favorite songs most evenings, planting playful smooches and encouraging her to turn their home into a castle. He could fix anything mechanical; pilfering parts from an airplane to fix things around the house. He found joy and humor in all things, especially in making those around him smile. Wint is survived by his 5 children, 3 children-in-law, one grandchild, one sister, and one brother, all with a lasting sense of humor, humility, and love thanks to him.
