He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert Carr and Amanda Marie Flanary (Jones); and his siblings, Earl Wayne "Pete" Flanary, Melvin "Jack" Flanary, Elmer Flanary, Dollie Pulliam, Hazel Middaugh and Elberta "Bert" Gardner (Bud).
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Flanary (Crafton) of Harrisonville, MO; his children, Trent Flanary of Charlotte, NC and Tonya Kral (Jim) of Chesapeake, VA; his grandchildren, Landon Gragg (Caitlin) of Pensacola, FL, Zoey and Hadley Flanary of Overland Park, KS; and his sisters, Lois Knibb (Dean) of Harrisonville and Shirley Henry (Larry) of Harrisonville. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins and extended family members and friends.
