He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Homer Garfield and Lola Ray (Gard); his wife Ida Ray; his grandson David Jeffrey Ray; his children, Jeffrey David Ray (Lori), Michael Howard Ray (Patsy) and Cheryl Jean Kirby (Max); and his siblings, Deryl, Rosalee, Wynaka, Dorothy, Mary and Madene. He was also cherished by 11 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren.
