Julie Anne Brown Obituary

Julie Brown was an avid thespian, a talented costume designer, and seamstress. However, her role as a mother is what she took the most pride in. After a long career and education in costume history & design, Julie undertook one of her biggest dreams: having a family of her own. Julie raised five equally talented children and with them, created a loving home where she ensured each child felt welcome. Her home was filled with laughter from amazing puns, goofy dancing from Talking Heads and classic 80’s music, and creative works of art from herself and her children. As a gifted seamstress, Julie took pride in creating various outfits for her children which grew from school wardrobes and Halloween costumes to prom dresses and wedding gowns. When Julie wasn’t busy carrying on family traditions and creating new ones, she spent her evenings with her loving husband talking and commiserating until they fell asleep next to one another with their eyeglasses askew. Julie leaves 5 children, 3 children-in-law, one grandchild, and one brother who will all remember her as sunshine, pure joy and laughter.
