It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Dennis Laster of Harrisonville, Missouri, born in Jefferson City, Missouri, who passed away on May 23, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis M. Laster and Helen M. Laster (Lutkewitte); his stepson Christopher Reed Kendrick; and his grandson Gavin Kendrick. He is survived by: his wife Judy Rosine Kendrick Laster of St. Louis, MO; his brother Jackie Dean Laster of Jacksonville, FL.; and his children, Shawn Kendrick (Andrea) of Webster Groves, MO, Lesley Matthews (Scott) of Olathe, KS, Charlotte Matthews (Patrick) and Ashley Kendrick (Sarah) of Leawood, KS.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the University of Central Missouri or Ocean Conservatory.
