He is survived by: his children, Wayne Gunnels (Kara), Bridget DiMercurio (Paul) and Brent Gunnels; his granddaughters, Bella DiMercurio, Cecilia DiMercurio and Amelia DiMercurio; his sibling Thresa Gunnels-Mays (Rob); his niece Lacey Amador (Al); his nephew Robbie (Kina); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Frida Amador, Stella Amador, Karter Gunnels and Tysen Brennan (Sharon Westover).
