He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Young; his son Garet; his brother Wayne Young (Sandra); and his siblings-in-law, Sharon Bell (Eugene) of Harrisonville, Joyce Brigham of Harrisonville and Richard Wormsley (Chang Su) of Warrensburg, MO. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
